Caryophyllene

Aroma: Black pepper, clove, spice, dry wood, and warm herbal bite.

Entourage role: Caryophyllene is the grounding terpene. In a flower profile, it often reads as body depth, calm weight, and a more anchored finish.

Research note: β-caryophyllene is unusual because it has been studied for interaction with the CB2 receptor, a target associated with immune and inflammatory pathways.
